Getting Started
Now it’s time to get going with your Bolzzen Gladiator and setup for your first exhilarating ride with one of Australia’s favorite Electric Scooters.
Folding and Unfolding
After you’ve unboxed all your goodies, now comes the time to unfold your Bolzzen Gladiator and get it ready to rock! When it comes to folding and unfolding, everything’s about the blue main clamps at the base of the stem.
To unfold, unlock these guys and pivot the stem upwards. Once in place, pull the sleeve down firmly until it reaches the bottom.
Then comes the MOST IMPORTANT part to eliminate the dreaded stem wobble! Fold each clamp up nice and tight, then go around and tighten the screws again. This is the secret to a rock solid stem and no wobble!
Charging the Battery
Whilst we ship our Electric Scooters with a little bit of power, it’s important to give your Gladiator a full charge before setting out for the first time.
Remove the plastic and tie-wires from your charger and plug it into the wall and turn it on. Then, carefully plug it into one of the deck mounted ports. Screw the charger port down to ensure a clean connection.
Whilst the charger is connected, the status light will be Red whilst charging and Green when fully charged; a full charge should take anywhere from 9-12 hours.
Pro Tip: The Gladiator has two deck mounted charger ports, head on over the the OEM Accessories shop and grab a second charger, or high performance charger for a shorter charge time!
For best performance, make sure you’re charging outside of temperature extremes. Anywhere between 5°C and 40°C should be fine. Outside of these, internal protections in the battery will trigger and charging will stop.
